For some reason, Winry appears as Truth in the 5th FMA:B opening.

(To be honest, I don’t  know if this should be considered as a fact, but maybe something you didn’t notice at first, becaaaaause I never noticed it.)

I noticed this too and never understood why so many people made a big deal about it or were confused by it’s meaning because I always thought it was supposed to represent Ed’s fear of losing Winry. I mean, I could be totally wrong, but when I first saw “Truth Winry” in the 5th opening, it reminded me a lot of Edward seeing Trisha’s figure when he tried bringing her back and was going through the portal the first time. So that mixed with Edward’s clearly distressed face after seeing Winry, and the fact that at the end of the opening Edward was apparently sleeping and dreaming/having a nightmare about all of those things, made me think it was just showing Edward’s fear of Winry dying or something…
